MAX 50 VM per KVM HOST ?

Hi all,

I would like to understand, is there any practical reason, why we choose
max 50 VMs per single KVM host ? Is there any relation between number of
VMs on host vs. CPU core number (GHz to be exact) or anything else ?

Thanks,

That is an old limit that I believe has been raised for new installs. With the new segmented CPUs out now, you can scale to pretty crazy numbers of VMs per host.
It will very much depend on your hardware, but I believe rhel7 doesn't publish a guest limit any longer.
