Jamie Gruener commented on SOLR-16115:
--------------------------------------
We've gotten most of this working, too, but would love to see some real documentation on it. I'd be grateful for some sample configs, too, as we can't seen to get the ZK Status part of the UI to populate and don't know if that's a bug or a misconfiguration.

> Solr 9.0 upgrades ZooKeeper to 3.7.
> With the following JIRAs resolved:
> - [ZOOKEEPER-235|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-235]
> - [ZOOKEEPER-236|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-236]
> - [ZOOKEEPER-1000|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-1000]
> - [ZOOKEEPER-2120|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-2120]
> ZooKeeper now supports encrypted communication with clients like Solr.
> I got this to work locally w/ self-signed certificates. We need to document the steps required by users to accomplish the same.
> This JIRA is marked as a task, but we're really getting a 'new feature' here.
