How can I determine the base URL of a repository?
Is there some mechanism I can use to determine the URL of a repository from
within the working copy?
I can use:
$ svn info | grep URL
but that gives me the repository _plus_ the name of the directory within the
repository, e.g.
URL: file:///home/wpd/testsvn/trunk/dir1/dir2
I would like to get just the file:///home/wpd/testsvn part.
Any thoughts?

On Subversion 1.3.x it'll get you the repository url in addition to
the repository uuid.

That just gets the UUID, not a URL. Using svn 1.2.3.

Try 'svn info | grep Repository', assuming you've got a recent enough
version of svn it should be there.
