ofbiz with google checkout.

Hi,

i had hired somebody to integrate ofbiz with google checkout. However he
left before finishing it. the module is 80% complete, for eg. shopping cart
is properly sent to google checkout (ie. including adjustments for tax and
promo items), shipping is dynamically calculated from ofbiz, party is
automatically created and the order is logged for the party.

The remaining 20% part is refining the code and to solve a session problem
that occurs when google posts the XML data to ofbiz.

The module is quite comprehensive, thus if someone willing to take it
forward and complete i am willing to share the code here, such that it can
form part of ofbiz.

I would like to add that the code that i have is quite different from the
small integration that we have in ofbiz now.

My code tries to duplicate the same fuctions/process in posting shopping
cart and logging order, as ofbiz would do in normail checkout. Thus the code
relies heavily of ofbiz code itself.

I've checked the current implementation and please correct me if I'm wrong,
but seems that it doesn't handle the adjustments and only able to transfer
the ShoppingCart items. I see some shipping method and tax calculation
handling possibilities, but the implementation is not complete.
There's no ofbiz Order processing involved, no callback notification
handling at all.
I've checked http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBIZ/Google+Checkout+Integration
also the mentioned patch at http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-71 .
Did I miss something maybe and the improvements are already available
somewhere?

Thanks for your help, Zoltan

Hi Zoltan,

Don't you think that the best would be to share in a Jira issue ?
