FWIW, the tests that should be removed are at https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-launchpad-integration-tests/tree/master/src/main/java/org/apache/sling/launchpad/webapp/integrationtest/userManager
And they have moved to https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-jcr-jackrabbit-usermanager/tree/master/src/test/java/org/apache/sling/jcr/jackrabbit/usermanager/it/post
I think that's great - I was just curious how much changers were needed to run the tests in the usermanager module, so I thought I'd save the links here. The answer to that is that only minor changes are needed in the test code, and only around test setup IIUC.
