Modal Window Problem

Hi,

Im having a problem with a modal window not opening. My page just contains a
file uploader and a AjaxButton, once a file has been selected in the
uploader  and a user presses the ajaxbutton a modal window is meant to
appear and show the contents of the file. The modal window will sometimes
appear but on other occasions it wont. 

The error in the ajax debugger is:  
ERROR: Wicket.Ajax.Call.processEvaluation: Exception evaluating javascript:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
