--- Comment #3 from Armin Le Grand <Ar...@me.com> ---
ALG: Adding me to CC. What YOu do when changing the style is not to change the
fill color of one shape, but the fill color of the style the object uses. When
both shapes use the same style, it is correct (and necessary) that both change
their styles. That is the concept of styles, maybe you should take a deeper
look at styles in the help.
When drawing any number of shapes and as long as all have the same style (they
get a default style when creating, all the same one) and as long as a shape has
no hard color attribute (this means, a color is directly applied to it, e.g.
using the toolbars) all these shapes will change when changing the style, even
on different pages (all shapes in the document using the style which do not
have the attribute set as hard attribute).
This is not an error, it's a feature. Invalid from my POV.

In OO3.3 already has the defect, and inOO3.4_r1327774 also has the defect~
and I find if use shape context menu->area to fill shape,no the defect.
but if use context menu->edit style...->area,it will reproduce.

I do not see the described effect with the released version 3.4. Do you see the
defect in version 3.4 too? Or do you see the defect in version r1354891 first
time?

--- Comment #5 from Armin Le Grand <Ar...@me.com> ---
Hi Du Jing,

it's a complex theme with several possibilities, please refer to the office
help pages or some tutorials on the net for more complete backgrounds.

The principles are:

- Objects have styles
- Styles have parent styles
- Attributes not defined at the object are taken from the style
- Attributes not defined in the style are taken from the partent chain of the
style
- Attributes not defined in that hierarchy are taken from a pool default

To create a new style there are several ways, You may create from object (see
Styles Dialog), you may copy an existing sytle.
To assign, open styles dialog (F11), select shape(s), double-click wanted style
in dialog.
For some objects (e.g. measure objects) an own default style is used.

HTH for the moment!
