Eclipse @category for Ant?

Hi all,

Is the @category tag supported at all for Ant in Eclipse (Helios)? See:

     http://archive.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.2-200606291905/new_noteworthy/eclipse-news-part2.html

for some info on this (search for @category on the page). I'm thinking that something like this would make the outline view in
Eclipse better for Ant scripts. Ideas?

Thanks,

Hi Steve,

Given that @category (as described at the URL you gave) is a javadoc
tag, and Ant scripts are XML files and don't contain javadocs, I doubt
it...

I dare say some similar functionality could maybe be added to
eclipse's Outline support for XML files, perhaps using a specific
format of comment which you could then include in your build scripts.
But you'd be better off asking on an eclipse mailing list rather than
here. Last I checked, there's no Ant task for populating the Outline
panel of an IDE during a build ;-)

Andy.
