[jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-5401) Not all RoutePolicy callback methods are invoked

Thanks for reporting.

Yeah I just spotted a bug with the routePolicyRef not invoking certain callbacks.
It works in Java DSL though, so its an issue when using the routePolicyRef as you would do in Spring XML.

> I am looking for a way to get notified when route is being stopped/started (resumed/suspended). I have implemented trivial logging _RoutePolicy_ (extending from _RoutePolicySupport_). However, during my tests I found that only _onInit_, _onExchangeBegin_ and _onExchangeDone_ methods are invoked. I tried both approaches - stopping/starting and suspending/resuming, but neither one worked.
> Route state is being handled from another thread using "CamelContext.*Route" methods group.
> I am using SpringCamelApplicationContext. Route is configured using: _routePolicyRef_ attribute of _route_ tag.
> I am fairly new to Camel. Let me know if I am missing something. Thanks.
