DO NOT REPLY [Bug 52193] New: ab output not documented
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=52193
Bug #: 52193
Summary: ab output not documented
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.17
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
AssignedTo: docs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: kurienmatheww@gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified
It would be useful to have documentation about the output produced by ab. For
eg
Does
Total transferred: 5210316800 bytes
refer to HTTP bytes or IP bytes?
It is not clear how
Time per request: 4887.117 [ms] (mean)
is calculated
Once again what does
Transfer rate: 10411.46 [Kbytes/sec] received
correspond to? IP transfer rate? HTTP transfer rate? HTTP payload transfer
rate?
