Apply tag problem propertXsl nameXsl

Hi All!

When I use
<xsl:apply nameXsl="MessageId" propertyXsl="MediumFormat">

instead of
<xsl:apply xsl="proper_filename.xsl">

xalan says: 
The markup in the document preceding the root element must be well-formed.

but in case of "<xsl:apply xsl="proper_filename.xsl">" it's fine...

what might be wrong?

for a start i think you meant general@xml.apache.org not
general@jakarta.apache.org ;-)
try there instead - or you might try the xalan-user list.
