Using Windows 10 and OpenOffice Swriter version 4.1.2, Build 9782 (Rev.
1709699), I tried to replicate the bug through the following approaches:
Approach 1:
1. Locate an HTML document through File Explorer
2. Right click > open with > OpenOffice Writer
3. Remove some content
4. Save the document as an odt file.
Approach 2:
1. Locate an HTML document through File Explorer
2. Right click > open with > OpenOffice Writer
3. Save the document as an odt file
4. Remove some content
5. Save
Approach 3:
1. Launch OpenOffice Writer
2. Open an HTML document in Writer (File > Open)
3. Remove some content
4. File > Export > Save as type .odt
None of the above approaches were successful in replicating the bug.
