Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DIRRMS-29
Summary: Find a good way to secure mutable functionality
Type: Task
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Project: Directory RMS
Components:
General
SPI
Assignee: Alex Karasulu
Reporter: Alex Karasulu
Created: Tue, 27 Apr 2004 6:25 PM
Updated: Tue, 27 Apr 2004 6:25 PM
Description:
We need to make sure that some providers do not allow mutation in any other fashion other than through the notification mechanism. We might simply lock the factory interfaces so they throw an exception when used at the level of the factory facade. However the DAOs will still be operable.
