Torque and JBoss

I'm in the process of moving a Torque based web application to use JBoss,
(or iPlanet, or SonicMQ).  JBoss has CMP (formerly JAWS) and Minerva (it's
own connection pool module).  Is all the Torque stuff just a throwaway, or
is there a migration path or means of integration between the two?
