How to clear Kahadb file system with active mq version 5.4.2

Hi 

I am currently using Activemq 5.4.2 which is integrated with WASCE(websphere
application server community edition).we are facing issue with Kahadb
persistent, where we are getting stale messages on a queue.what are
different option we have to clear file system?
