working with maven1 and 2

Hi,
I'm using maven 2 for my project. But I need to use the svn version of
jackrabbit which use maven1.
So how can i use jackrabbit in my maven 2 project? Is there a way to
generate  the pom from the maven1 project and publish the jar to my
maven 2 local repository?
