System property in web.xml

Hi,

is it possible to set a system property like

"javax.xml.validation.SchemaFactory:http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" = 
"org.apache.xerces.jaxp.validation.XMLSchemaFactory"

in a web.xml?
