Help with Velocity -Templave and Useage

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone can help me using velocity. I am new to
velocity and exploring how to use it in my web application. I have my
application running on Tomcat and Jboss. The main trouble I am having is
the way to figure out where to place the template file and how to read
that template file and output a file to a specified path. Can someone
please guide me with the setup?

Another alternative it the Click Framework which uses the Velocity
templating engine.

The example applications (especially the "simple" one) provided with
VelocityTools are probably the easiest starting point.
