   The patch #1516 fixes this issue.
   
   It does not however address the mentioned `# TODO` comment about the insane looping around of dictionaries, which appears to exist merely to ensure we write as less files as possible (in the case that the modified dictionary happens to touch upon more than one file, like include files).
