JMeter - trying to use remote from Windows GUI to Linux jmeter-server

Hi everyone,

When trying to execute my tests from the GUI running on Windows XP using a
jmeter-server process running on RHEL 4. I get the following error reported
from jmeter-server on linux.

(.:23776): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

I've also tried executing the script with :- ./jmeter -n -t test.jmx from
the linux box.

I still get the same error.

Any one know whats going on?

Using version 2.2

Thanks,

Matt

Looks like it ran OK, apart from the BeanShell error.

It seems that your test plan uses BeanShell, so make sure you have
installed the beanshell jar on the server as well as the client.

OK.

Which JRE is to be avoided with JMeter, and which one works?

Its okay Seb. Thanks for the help.

The problem was RedHat using a dodgy JRE.

The test does not run.

Is it an issue with the BeanShellInterpreter?
