Distributed Checksum Clearinghouses

Here's another creative approach to spamming blocking. The idea is the
mail server does a fuzzy checksum of a message as it arrives to
determine a unique ID for a message. This checksum is then checked
against a server that is similarly gathering checksum information from
other mail servers. If that checksum is found above a threshold, then
it's determined to be spam. Supposedly it's surprisingly effective.
