PDFBox
Hi,
Please refer this link: http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/2011/WD-WCAG20-TECHS-20110621/pdf.html#PDF4
I want to achieve this using PDFBox.
I am unsure of how to achieve it.
Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks & Regards

You’ll have to do the table layout yourself, PDFBox doesn’t offer any high-level APIs. You can use PDFont#getStringWidth(String) to perform the calculations and PDPageContentStrea#showText(String) to display the text, then draw some lines for the columns/rows.

Hi,
I need to put a table in pdf document with dynamic column labels and
dynamic rows.
I used to do with iText Library.
I want to achieve this using PDFBox.
Can anybody suggest me to achieve that?

Hi Duff,
This looks like a great event. I’m thinking of attending as I live nearby.

At a high level, this requires implementation of “Tagged PDF” - clause 14.8 in ISO 32000-1.
Specifically with respect to artifacts, see 14.8.2.2.2.
Implementing tagged PDF is one of several topics that will be discussed in technical detail at the forthcoming PDF Technical Conference. More information: http://www.pdfa.org/event/pdf-technical-conference-2015/
Sessions addressing tagged PDF include:
- PDF/UA 101
- Tagging page content
- Automating the creation of PDF/UA documents
- Creating structured PDF
- PDF and the Open Web Platform
- Transforming PDF into HTML
