[jira] Updated: (ADDR-3) org.apache.axis.message.addressing.AddressingHeaders.setAction(String uri) should support empty string values for uri

     [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ADDR-3?page=all ]

Steffen Horlacher updated ADDR-3:
---------------------------------

    Attachment: addressing.diff

With this patch it's possible to pass an empty string as action uri. Simply added some empty String checks.

> org.apache.axis.message.addressing.AddressingHeaders.setAction(String uri) appears to be throwing an exception when I pass in an empty string as the uri value.
> The exception is being thrown in new URI(""):
> this.action = new Action(new URI(uri));
> I think I should be able to pass in an empty string. I think setAction(String uri) should look like:
>             if (uri.trim().equals(""))
>                 this.action = new Action(new URI());
>             else
>                 this.action = new Action(new URI(uri));
