[jira] [Created] (ASTERIXDB-3528) Fix recovery behavior for Libraries on cloud storage

Ian Maxon created ASTERIXDB-3528:
------------------------------------

Summary: Fix recovery behavior for Libraries on cloud storage
                 Key: ASTERIXDB-3528
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ASTERIXDB-3528
             Project: Apache AsterixDB
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Ian Maxon
            Assignee: Ian Maxon

After deploying the prototype Python UDF feature on Capella, some behaviors that didn’t show up in local testing presented themselves. In particular there are a number of issues that happen on starting an instance after a library has been deployed. First, the presence of the applications directory in the root of the storage cache causes the node to fail to bootstrap. Second, the libraries themselves need to be paged in properly; right now the ExternalLibraryManager assumes they are in place after node recovery.
