Disaster recovery for guests
Hi All,
1. Does CloudStack has any ways of doing Disaster Recovery for Guest VM? or
do I need to rely on third-party product?
2. How does a fail-over keeps the IP consistence
Thanks and Regards
Asanka

Hello Asanka,
There is no DR built in ACS, you must do it yourself.
A good approach could be running a zone off-site, take regular snapshots of the VM's volume(s) and restore them in the remote zone or just download them somewhere and keep them handy for any eventual restoration.
IP will need to be moved manually or just rely on DNS with low ttls (better).
HTH,
Lucian
