Hi Stephen,  to be honest, my current interest shifted to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TINKERPOP-1852 . Apache Directory-Kerby had two releases in the mean time (see issue above), so anyone could pick up this work now. I might pick it up somewhere later.
