Releasing Apache Camel 3.15.0 in January 2022

Hi

The main focus for Camel 3.15 is the drop of JDK8 and upgrade to JDK11
as the minimum Java version. All the build system has been adjusted to
compile as JDK11 binaries.

I think it would be a good idea to get a fairly quick release out of
Camel 3.15.0 as we also need to ensure the other Camel sub projects
work well with this upgrade.

So I think if we can get a release out towards the end of January that
would be great.

Hi

I also want to say that after we now drop JDK8 we have an opportunity
to cleanup old stuff and deprecate components that are getting old,
unmaintained by 3rd party etc.
And also upgrade to newer dependencies. So there has been some work on
this, one example was to upgrade from commons-pool v1 to v2 that was
in use in a few components.

Hi

Just want to remind that its still a great idea to get an early 3.15.0
release out as it is a bigger change where we drop JDK8 and upgrade to
JDK11 as minimum version.
There are also some changes in the build system (pom.xml files) etc
that are of this nature to drop jdk8 bits or special jdk11 addons etc.

We could use the next 2 weeks for development and getting ready for
this release, and then start the RC in last week of January.
