Jordan Birdsell commented on KUDU-2442:
---------------------------------------

[~mpercy] this came up in the past and I had thought it was decided that we don't support Python 2.6. I may be misremembering this though...

> pip install kudu-python appears to be broken on EL6 / CentOS 6 due to end-of-life of Python 2.6. The latest versions of pip (10.x) don't seem to work on Python 2.6 and pip can't seem to find pytest-runner when I install it (maybe I am missing something):
> {code:java}
> [mpercy@vc1320 lib64]$ pip install --user pytest-runner
> You are using pip version 7.1.0, however version 10.0.1 is available.
> You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.
> Collecting pytest-runner
