SimpleStartup.java
I read on the Sun JSP list that it is possible to debug using the
SimpleStartup.java program in the /etc directory. I have webserver.jar in my
classpath, but I'm unable to compile this program due to the following
error:
SimpleStartup.java:90: Method setDocumentBase(java.net.URL) not found in
class org.apache.tomcat.server.HttpServer.
server.setDocumentBase(url);
Has anyone used SimpleStartup, and if so does it really help for debugging
purposes? Would I be able to set breakpoints in my beans? Just wanted to
check in before I insert a few dozen println's in my code!
Thanks,
Jeff
