State-Changed-Why:
The libtool on the machine used to build the alpha's has
been updated to version 1.3.4.  We will try to continue
to update libtool on this machine as newer releases are made.
However, the long-term fix for this, is for the developer to
run "make distclean;./buildconf" in the src directory.  This
will use the autoconf and libtool that are installed on the
developers machine.
