[jira] [Commented] (NUMBERS-21) Target Java 7
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUMBERS-21?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16713799#comment-16713799 ]
Gilles commented on NUMBERS-21:
-------------------------------
Time passes...
I now think that it's not worth targeting anything lower than Java 8.
My impression is that
* an old application is unlikely to develop functionalities that will use [Numbers]
* a new project will surely target Java 8+.
