[Bug 1519] spamd must not die if syslog() fails

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1519

spamassassin-contrib@msquadrat.de changed:

           What |Removed |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary|spamd should failsafe to |spamd must not die if
                   |stderr if syslog() fails |syslog() fails

------- Additional Comments From spamassassin-contrib@msquadrat.de 2004-02-18 18:13 -------
Sorry, falling back to stderr is IMHO no option: At least *I* dont want any
daemon to start dumping its logs to stderr if another one fails.

But it shouldn't die either, just continue happily silently and go onas if
nothing has happened when syslogd is back again.
