[jira] [Created] (COUCHDB-2771) Invalid Database Name Error Message

Eytan Davidovits created COUCHDB-2771:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Invalid Database Name Error Message
                 Key: COUCHDB-2771
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-2771
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Improvement
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Fauxton
            Reporter: Eytan Davidovits

Currently, when creating a User Database, the user is not given instructions on what names are appropriate and if the user inputs an invalid name, the box disappears and a large notification pops over. I propose having the instructions below the text box with an error notification right below the box if something goes wrong. Here is a link to a prototype: https://ibm.box.com/s/ngzw7cbvcm1ge3z50di4psrglu2x5rod
