[jira] [Resolved] (AVRO-776) SocketServer holds socket open after close

Doug Cutting resolved AVRO-776.
-------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I merged this to the 1.5 branch.

Stephen, it's typical to update the fix-version, merge to the branch and resolve the issue when committing. I updated the wiki to make this clearer.

> The SocketServer's main thread is not interrupted when close is called which holds the socket open. I've added a fix to interrupt the main receiver thread and allow it to exit normally.
