link validation and linking to jars

Hello everybody,

Ii am experiencing some minor trouble generating my documentation with
forrest: My documentation relies on a shared directory in the corporates
LAN. When I am linking to external resources like jars or directories,
forrest adds ".html" to my links. Three examples:

<link
href="../dist/lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar">lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar</link>
<link href="../dist">ldistributions</link>
<link href="../dist/">ldistributions</link>

This produces in the first two cases links like <a
href="../lmu-batch-2003-06-05.jar.html"> and <a href="../dist.html">.

In the third case forrest throws an exception. How can I handle this
linking to jars and directories?

Cheers,
Jan

P.S.: The Stack trace for the latter case is very long. I provide it if
anyone is intrested.

It's a bug in the version of Cocoon we're using. It should be fixed
within the next day or so when we upgrade. Alternatively if you can
check Cocoon out from CVS, you can do the upgrade locally using Forrest's
etc/cocoon_upgrade/* scripts.
