   Thanks for working on this, @karuppayya! I feel these tests would be helpful. I did one pass and left some minor comments.
   
   In addition, it would be great to add one or more tests when the source table has an evolved schema. I believe the only operation we can perform in the built-in file sources is to add columns at the end. Can we add a test when a table is modified before and after migration?
