HttpClient 3.x and JRE 1.7...

We are still on HttpClient 3.x. We recently started having problems with random connection close errors while downloading content, use a GET request with HttpClient 3.x. Not much has changed in this code. I realize that at some point we should upgrade to 4.x. One of the things that has changed is that we upgraded from JRE 6 to JRE 7. Has anyone else had problems with random connection close exception using HttpClient 3.x? Are people using 3.x with JRE 7?

Oops, let me correct myself. The exception we are getting is a connection reset exception.
