UIMA Help

Hi All,

I am facing  a problem that I have to analyse a document. For that I am
planning to use UIMA, by first training the analysis engine for some
sample doucments and then use the previous knowledge to analyse the
document.
Can any one  tell me wether I am thinking right ? It can done with UIMA
? 
If yes can I get some sample example for this??
Please tell the solution to the  problem
