[jira] Created: (INFRA-3478) mercurial mirrors

mercurial mirrors
-----------------

                 Key: INFRA-3478
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3478
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Wish
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
            Reporter: Gerhard Petracek

it would be great to have mercurial mirrors as an equivalent to https://github.com/apache
(at apache-extras or bitbucket)

I haven't used it personally, but have you tried the hg-git plugin?

Gerhard Petracek commented on INFRA-3478:
-----------------------------------------

last time i used it - it wasn't that nice.
however, some people are wondering why we have apache-extras which also uses hg but we don't offer hg mirrors.
since it isn't the first time i hear it, i opened this issue. imo it won't harm to offer mirrors for all hg users and they don't have to care about such more or less stable add-ons.
