Sample Transformation application

Hi,
I used to use Java1.4's API for Transformation. But, I would like to shift to directly use Xalan's API for transformation, though Java1.4 uses Xalan's library.

Can any one send me a sample application to transform an xml stream against a stylesheet stream? It would be great.
