Memory leak a-go-go goes a-bye-bye

Just FYI, I reported a frustrating memory leak earlier.  I updated the
kernel on the test server to the latest 2.2 kernel, and the memory leak
issue appears to have gone away.  If anyone is still using a 2.2 kernel, I
urge you to update to 2.2.22.
