[jira] Created: (CHUKWA-153) Time widget should either be global across all tabs, or should preserve the time range when I switch tabs

Time widget should either be global across all tabs, or should preserve the time range when I switch tabs
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: CHUKWA-153
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CHUKWA-153
             Project: Hadoop Chukwa
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: User Interface
            Reporter: Hong Tang
            Priority: Minor

I selected a time range using date-picker on one table for two months, then when I switch to a different tab, the time widget defaults to last 24 hours, however, the gui still shows data for last two months.

It seems to make more sense to me to globalize the time widget (applicable to all tabs). Or, at least we should ensure time widget is consistent with other widgets.
