Switch Tile Layout by Domain?

I want to re-Brand my application. I don't know how else to do this, except by domain.
So..
Option 1. Use default layout for http://www.yoursos.com and use alternate1 layout for http://alternate1.yoursos.com

Option 2. Beg for an expert to help me understand what the best way to re-brand this application using tiles is...

My tiles-defs.xml has a mainLayout and all the displayed pages extend it.
If you store the preferred layout id in RDBMS or cookie, you can assing a
controllerClass or controllerUrl to the mainLayout definition which 
retrieves
the user preferred one.
