[users@httpd] Script: '/usr/www/...' in httpd-error.log?
Hello all,
I get plenty of error messages in my httpd-error.log like the ones shown
here
[Sun Nov 23 11:34:42 2008] Script: '/usr/www/example/core/js/wall.php'
[Sun Nov 23 11:35:35 2008] Script: '/usr/www/example/core/js/wall.php'
[Sun Nov 23 11:36:07 2008] Script: '/usr/www/example/core/inc/out.php'
[Sun Nov 23 11:36:32 2008] Script: '/usr/www/example/core/inc/out.php'
I have been trying to figure out what is causing this for a long period of
time now but without any luck.
The files mentioned are real files and are used a lot by all ligit users
visiting the site. They are functioning properly and generates no php errors
etc.
The error loglevel is set to error.
What is causing these errors?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I am not using PHP personally with Apache, but my son who is, tells me
that there probably is, in each of these scripts, a like like :
error_log(....)
which you would just need to comment out.
// error_log(....)
If that doesn't do it, and if you send me one of the scripts, I'll pass
it on to him and he might be able to tell you more.

I will try to take a look at that.
The strange thing is that php errors are turned off, so it shouldnt log
anything. Also, this only occurres on a few php-files, not on the rest, and
there is no major differences between the files that show up in the log
compared to the files thats not showing up.

Do you need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH (or whatever your OS'es shared
library path is) in bin/envvars?

Any chance you have a different LDAP or SSL lib used in some other
module or system authenticaton (e.g.. /etc/nsswitch.conf?)
You might try to obtain a backtrace with gdb and postit here:

If I attempt to use a secure ldap connection (apache 2.2.10) I get

Segmentation fault (11), possible coredump in /usr/local/httpd
when trying to authorize the client
works perfectly in non-secure mode
Any ideas on what I can do to get some more info on whats going on ?

That final invocation of libtool doesnt reference /usr/lib, which is
almost certainly where libnet lives. Have you done some hackery to
remove /usr/lib, to avoid it finding LDAP libraries in there?
Could you email, or put on a pastebin somewhere, the contents of:
<apachedir>/config.nice
<apachedir>/config.log
<apachedir>/srclib/apr-util/config.nice
<apachedir>/srclib/apr-util/config.log

They probably have the SSL libraries staticly linked in.

Yeah, that is unlikely to work. How about manually installing apr and
apr-util (you'll find them in httpd-2.2.10/srclib/apr and
httpd-2.2.10/srclib/apr-util). When you come to build apr-util, you can
pass the LDAP library path to the configure script with something like
'--with-ldap-include=/usr/local --with-ldap-lib=/usr/local
--with-ldap=/usr/local/lib/libldap.so'.
Thats probably not exactly right, but play around with it and then it
should be fine.
Once you have apr/apr-util built correctly, configure httpd to use those
installed versions with '--with-apr=/usr/local/bin/apr-1-config
--with-apr-util=/usr/local/bin/apu-1-config'.
BTW, your emails all seem to come through as HTML email attachments.

Output of these commands please:
ldd /path/to/sbin/httpd
ldd /path/to/mod_ssl.so
ldd /path/to/mod_*ldap*.so
You almost certainly have httpd/mod_ssl linked to one OpenSSL library,
and mod_{,authnz_}ldap linked to another. Those commands should
demonstrate that. The solution is to rebuild/reinstall apache.
