[users@httpd] rotatelogs and gzip

Does anybody know if it is possible to use apache rotatelogs AND gzip
together?

I currently write out log file by:
CustomLog "|/usr/local/sbin/rotatelogs
/usr/local/www/domain.com/logs/access_%Y%m%d.log 86400" combined env=!nolog
