[jira] [Commented] (YARN-8075) DShell does not Fail when we ask more GPUs than available even though AM throws 'InvalidResourceRequestException'

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-8075?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16414755#comment-16414755 ]

Wangda Tan commented on YARN-8075:
----------------------------------

Thanks [~ssathish@hortonworks.com] for reporting the issue, sounds like a simple fix: We stopped AMRMClient in onError, and then the unregister call in {{finish}} hangs because the AMRMClient is stopped.

Uploaded 001 patch, [~sunilg] could u help to review the patch?

> Run an DShell asking for 4 GPU per container, The application remains in RUNNING state.
> But AM logs shows it failed to launch containers with org.apache.hadoop.yarn.exceptions.InvalidResourceRequestException
