Yes, we have encountered that problem too (Bill has, at least). Allan has 
been working more on the design, and said he had figured out the reason for 
the above problem.  Let's just wait and see if he's right.

Nothing planned. But we are definitely getting there soon and I think that 
we should be able to do a release-candidate not too long after Allan 
delivers his newest work.
