LICENSE, NOTICE, README in more than one place

Hey Guys,

Minor detail - I noticed that both the Daemon project
and 
the server-installer project have LICENSE and NOTICE
files.

I assume the server installer files are the ones that
get updated?

Is there a purpose to having the files in both
projects or can we clean out one set?
