[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-848) sometimes loggers don't stop

Eric Newton created ACCUMULO-848:
------------------------------------

             Summary: sometimes loggers don't stop
                 Key: ACCUMULO-848
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-848
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: logger, scripts
    Affects Versions: 1.4.1
         Environment: large cluster
            Reporter: Eric Newton
            Assignee: Eric Newton

Sometimes stop-all does not stop loggers. I cannot reliably reproduce it, but if someone can, please investigate.

Keith Turner commented on ACCUMULO-848:

Looking at the code, I think I see one issue. LogService.process() does not reregister the watch. Zookeeper watches only fire once.

I've noticed this before on a single node; monitor and gc also didn't stop if memory serves. I haven't ever taken the time to look into it. Will try to keep my eyes open for it again
