Dileepa Jayakody commented on MARMOTTA-439:
-------------------------------------------
Hi All,
I'm Dileepa, a research student from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka having a special interest in linked-data and semantic web space. I have some knowledge on RDF and related linked-data technologies and also experience in Apache Stanbol project (I'm a committer to this project).
I'm very interested in Marmotta and this project idea intrigues me. I would like to do some background research on this project and submit a proposal.
I will come up with questions I have regarding the project in time to come.
Thanks,
Dileepa

> The Linked Data Platform specification, informally LDP, describes the use of HTTP for accessing, updating, creating and deleting resources from servers that expose their resources as Linked Data.
> And the Marmotta Client Library needs to add support to it, as well as we are currently adding client-side one.
> The main implementation should be in Java, but there is room for other student to also implement in other languages, including PHP, Javascript or Python.
